Step #2: A HOME RUN Dinner that's Elegant yet Simple to Make!
Grilled Flap Steak with Sweet Peppers
This is definitely on heavy rotation at my house. Flap steak is my favorite cut of meat and is perfect for grilling with a balsamic marinade.
In a gallon zip-lock bag, add steak in with the following marinade:
- ¼ cup Vita di Bella Arbequina Olive Oil
- ¼ Vita di Bella Barrel-Aged Balsamic Vinegar
- A Healthy Pinch of Salt & Pepper
- 2 Tbs of Vita di Bella Italian Seasoning
Marinate for 30 minutes or longer.
Separately, lightly toss sweet peppers in bowl with Vita di Bella Arbequina Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper.
Heat grill to high. Place steak and peppers on the grill and reduce to medium. Grill steak for approximately 4 minutes per side. Turning peppers frequently, grill until they blister and slightly char. Move peppers and flap steak to a serving platter and let rest five minutes before carving meat and serving.
Strawberry Vinaigrette Salad
I love this super easy salad with fresh summer flavors. All you need for the salad is fresh mixed greens, strawberries and crunchy almonds! This salad dressing is beyond simple but absolutely delicious!
- Two Parts Vita di Bella Arbequina Olive Oil
- One Part Vita di Bella Strawberry Vinegar
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
Dress and toss just before serving
